We finally have spring in our yard. The trees came into leaf late this year–we had quite the winter. But our flowers are blooming and I thought you might like to see some pictures of our yard. The three weigela we planted last year are doing well and flowering out, the lace maple is thick and leafy, and the azaleas are giving us a lovely pop of color.
I’ve been neglecting the blog lately–it’s been a stressful past few weeks. But I’m happy to say that Caly is doing well. She’s eating like a champ, the fur is growing back on her front leg where she had the IV drip inserted, and she’s happy and bringing me toys again. I’m ever grateful to our vet–Dr. Bruce is wonderful–and to Bast, the Lady of all Catkind. I was so afraid we might lose my little tortie girl.
I’m so thrilled that so many of you have bought MOON SHIMMERS–Camille’s biggest adventure yet. I’m working on two Bewitching Bedlam novelettes for anthologies later this year, and finishing up FURY AWAKENED for a June release.Next, I start MAUDLIN’S MAYHEM–the second Bewitching Bedlam novel.
I have a surprise for you, too–in a few weeks, I’ll be releasing a POD (print on demand) volume of the shorts I’ve written for Otherworld.
OTHERWORLD TALES, Volume 1, will contain the stories in TALES FROM OTHERWORLD, MEN OF OTHERWORLD 1, and MEN OF OTHERWORLD 2. I will also make the whole collection available in e-format for those who haven’t bought the individual collections. As a result, I’m changing the cover on Tales From Otherworld to keep people from getting them mixed up. Iris graces the new volume! I will have more news when it releases.
A side note: Please make certain you’ve checked your spam folders for my newsletter. Open rate is at 25% of my total list and it occurs to me that it might be going into your spam filters.
Anyway, enough for now.
