Down at Marymoor Park, where I take my Year-Of pictures, they have movies in the park in the evenings during the summer. It’s a little reminiscent of the old fashioned drive-ins, and lazy summer Saturdays watching movies. For me, I remember the old B-grade SF movies like The Day the Earth Stood Still, and Creature From the Black Lagoon when I think of Saturday afternoon–the Saturday Double-Creature-Feature. So what movies do you associate with summer?

I am black&white junky! The Mummy, Dacula, the creature from Black Lagoon but what really reminds me of summer I would have to say is It Came From Outerspace. We have a theatre that plays the old movies through the summer and I will be going tomorrow night to see Arsenic and Old Lace I cant wait to see Carey Grant on the big screen ♡
