It’s almost that time of year when I haul out the decorations (and those who don’t like decorations going up early don’t need to come to my house, so there!) (because, MY house!) (as Bill the Cat would say, PHBBT!). So I have cute Elf hats and reindeer antlers and a Santa hat for the cats. Um…it will soon be the annual epic struggle of me with a camera VS the cats trying to get the hats off their heads.

I don’t leave them on for long, just enough for cute pictures.

No cats are ever harmed in the making of my photos.

Me: (staring at cats) I’d apologize in advance…but…hey…it’s the price for free food and a good home and lots of love and general free rein to raise havoc. Y’know?

Here’s an epic picture from the past with our Rainbow Bridge girls.

My heavenly fur baby, Rifkin, would have taken blood if I tried to put anything like a hat on her. Of course, she could un-decorate the tree and take the bows off the packages under the tree all she wanted. Whether we liked it or not. I miss her. So thanks for the pictures of your fur babies!

I love having decorations up early – we can enjoy them longer! And pet photos are cute. Like your cats, we have to catch our cat when he’s ‘in the mood’ (in other words, asleep! ha ha But the photos are worth the trouble, to us anyway!

So cute! You are ahead of me. My Halloween decorations are still up. I’m calling them “witchy fall decor” at this point.

My Mom makes me take the Halloween decorations down practically the next day so she can put up the Thanksgiving decorations (paper cut outs we hang on the wall). Christmas, however, can stay up until May.

LOL, if I tried to decorate my cats, only one would get done. The other would run and hide, very well.

I would try putting hats, etc. on my Sayan kitten, but I would lose several fingers in the process. Lol! I once put a Halloween shirt on him & still bear scars from that experience. The ruler of our household was NOT amused. Cute pictures!

As my dog Jack would say “Go for it, and I’m so glad I’m not on the agenda!”. Great pics!
