So this week, I’m being put on a near-zero fructose diet to see how I react (now the thinking is, besides histamine intolerance and allergies, I may have fructose intolerance…). Be nice or I’ll be hiding the bodies. *stares sternly*

So, I’m going to need things to laugh at. Tell me something funny today!

    Hi
I so enjoy your writings, and hope that you treat yourself well with other good things during the near freeze on fructose- because you treat us so very well- and you deserve it! I read your non fiction too and eagerly learn from your experience.
My small dog was 2 when we got our kitten and they adopted ea. other right away. Not sure if they know who is what, because they snff ea. other’s behinds, groom ea. other & sleep together and even two years on still act like babies in their play!
Picture the keystone cops for a minute. Abby, our Terrier mix, in the lead chases Ramona, our Calico with 21 toes, down the hall. We hear grumbling, meows, maybe a couple of soft bangs, then back down the hall they tear, Abby now being chased by Ramona, both with what are equivalents of huge grins on their faces! Abby rolls head over paws to a stop, Ramona bumps right into her. Then they both jump on the couch and then collapse together & catch a few breaths back to back as if nothing happened. They end the whole thing with Ramona giving Abby a good grooming, especially on the face (her face, is for some reason a regular place after their chases).
Good luck and feel better from the smoke and the allergies, you’re in my thoughts!

A young boy knocked on my door on Halloween night and said, “Trick or treat?”
I looked at him and asked, “What have you come as
    He said, “A werewolf.”
I said, “But you’re not wearing a costume. You’ve just got your normal clothes on.”
He said, “Yeah well, it’s not a full moon yet, is it?”

Our cat Riley has decided his quota is a ‘mouse-a-day’ and so far has been delivering. Usually we watch the pet door mornings when he is out hunting but my hubby missed him yesterday and in he came, proudly carrying his catch! Unable to stop him, hubby watches him run upstairs to our bedroom to show me! We managed to pick up the body before any damage to our rugs, etc. and even though Riley watched my husband pick up his mouse in a bag and walk away with it, he still spent time looking all around our bedroom looking for it! 🙂

My cat Fritz has decided that I am a tree to climb. She is about 3 years old and has decided that her place is on my shoulders. Unfortunately to get there she has to climb up my legs. Then she won’t get down. She still has her claws and even though I try and keep them clipped she thinks that she has to be draped across my shoulders like I stole when I want to get up and go somewhere.
