So I’ve been really moving along on SUN BROKEN–it’s writing really quickly and I’m thrilled. Except today I hit a wall because today I woke up with a cold for the first time in YEARS. I have reactions out the ears, I have weird accidents, but I seldom get colds because I mostly stay home. It’s problematic for me to get a cold because of my lungs and asthma. So I’m hoping that this will be light and not too harsh. I am taking it easy. And my writing schedule isn’t super heavy right now because I gave myself a little extra time.

Other than that, I’m happy that people love DEMON’S DELIGHT. Maddy and Aegis, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G.

But, I wanted to make a number of my international readers aware of something. I was not told when I received my rights back for the first two Whisper Hollow books that the UK apparently still holds the rights for a number of territories to them, and I had to pull my versions from all of those territories. So if you can’t find them, that’s why.

I’m sorry about that, but there’s absolutely nothing I can do at this point about this. It’s a major headache, and just underscores how glad I am that I’ve gone indie because there are SO MANY things like this that go on with trad publishing and I’m just tired of all the bullshit and so much happy with how much better off I am on my own that dealing with the continued ties to trad is a MAJOR PITA. *sigh* Oh well.

OH…and I got some great news yesterday, but I can’t tell you yet. But I guarantee a number of my readers will be happy campers! Tell you as soon as I can! (NO, no movies or TV, I wish it was! LOL).

So, how are you? Wish me luck in getting over my cold.

Get well soon! We’ve managed to avoid colds for the most part around here. Mom & I both wash our hands a lot, especially after we’ve been out. (Though Mom doesn’t go out much except to doctor appts.) I use hand sanitizer, and those cart wipes whenever I can.

I will say that chamomile tea is great when you have a cold. Helps ease your chest congestion and with honey helps a sore throat

Unfortunately, chamomile is off limits to me. The only teas I can have are raspberry and peppermint. But those help. šŸ™‚

Luck and love in getting over your coldā¤

Holding my husband’s hand and watching Xena helps. Having allergies always makes getting over colds more interesting. Vicks becomes my 2nd best friend at these times. Husband stays 1st.
