I am over 18 & in USA. I am disabled and my wonderful son (30 in a few weeks) takes care of me. He’s so good to me, that in spite of working (which for him means he’s running constantly, either on foot or in vehicles) all day while trying to take care of a couple of issues, he took the time to stop at Starbucks and get me my favorite Frappuccino. He is the best!

I am 39 catching up to the top of the hill. I am in Oklahoma, in the USA. One of the things I find lovely is being able to wake up or go to sleep and have a cat that will gladly give me headboops.

I’m in the USA and over 18. My lovelies are my rambunctious children. My daughter who is 4 and my 12 year old son. They light up my world. Also like to add my beautiful and sweet cat, Isis. She is a 5 year old calico who likes to play and be near me all the time. They are what makes me happy.

My familiar Rukia had to go to the vet to find out what the lump on her ribs was. Thankfully, it was just an abcess and today she is back to her lovely-dovey self, giving many kisses, head boops, and all the runs I could want.
She has never been a very vocal cat, but ever since the vets she has been mrrp-ing and prrrping anytime she hears me. It makes my heart soar and makes me feel like such a sip bc her happy love almost brings me to tears.
I’m so happy she is better and healthy now and that the lump wasn’t something worse.

Today I peacefully remembered both my parents that have passed away as today would’ve been their 31st anniversary together and 25th anniversary married. I miss them so much each and every day but their legacies live on through me to been remembered and passed down to my daughter.

I’m 40 and live in NC. Our niece who is a teenager came to stay with us for the weekend. We’re going to see Bumblebee in the morning. My husband used to be in the Navy so we were gone for almost 15 years. It’s so nice to be back home and be able to spend time with our nieces and nephews whenever we can!!

My Lovely thing is, I am finally getting full custody of my little adopted baby boy. How wonderful and lovely is that? I had every single book and I am pretty sure your shorts too. I am from Louisiana and in 2016 a flood washed all my books away. My collection was huge. My kids for me a Kindle and I am hooked, but I continued to purchase yours and a very few select author paperbacks. I like to see them lined up on my shelves. But since the flood they are all gone. I am gonna try to rebuild my/your book collection again. Happy New Year!!!

I am 35 years old, and I live in Michigan.

My lovely moment of the day:

I had a hysterectomy 2 weeks ago. Today I went to the grocery store for the first time since my surgery. I only needed to get some eggs, bread, and milk, so I thought I could handle it. My recovery has been going pretty well, but pushing even an empty cart proved to be too much for the healing stitches in my stomach muscles. I found a bench to sit on, and I called my husband. I told him that it was too much and now my stomach was sore, so I needed help. He didn’t even hesitate when he replied that he and his buddy (who is visiting for the weekend) would be right there.

They showed up at the store 10 minutes later, and they followed me around and did all of the pushing, lifting, bagging, and transfer of groceries (both into the car and then into the house). They did it all without a single complaint, despite the fact that it interrupted their gaming, and they both loathe grocery shopping.

Not all Knights in Shining Armor have to slay dragons to be heroes. Sometimes all they have to do is show up when you need their help.

I am over 18, in the US, and thankful to get out of the hospital today. I did find out that I have to have neck/spine surgery, but thankfully I have one of the best neuro surgeons in the US doing my surgery.

Today is my father’s birthday. I adore him. He has influenced my life in so many ways that I have not even realized until recently. Today, I watch him as he plays with my children and I see the joy they all have and my heart is full. It is my sincerest wish that I am able to be even half the parent that he is. I love you dad. Happy birthday.

My beloved 2-year old indoor cat, Wiyanna, ran terrified out of the house when some furniture was being moved out and ran away. I Did everything I could to find him using all the resources available. I was so worried for him. The weather was cold and wet and he had thin indoor fur. On the Winter Solstice, I heard a cat crying under the house. It was Wiyanna! He was unhurt, but very scared and thin. When he left, he weighed 11 pounds and when he returned, he weighed 8. The first five days, he stuck to me like glue, reaching out to grab me to make sure I was still there. Every day he gains weight and relaxes a little bit more. He is a Solstice Miracle and I am deeply grateful he is back home.

Addendum. I forgot to put in my previous post that I am over 18 and live in the US. Wiyanna was lost on December 1st and was gone for three weeks.

You are right, jigsaw puzzles help to change your focus and perspective . I like to have one always in the process of being solved. You can match the puzzle to your mood and your desired outcome. I am going to invest in a jigsaw puzzle table since I now have the room.
