There are so many October movies I love, so it’s hard to winnow down. I’m not including just scary movies or horror movies, but pure ghost movies. I’m going to list five of my favorites here (there are more), and these change ranking depending on my mood.
Notes: I ALWAYS cry at the end of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir–it’s a wonderful love story.
Poltergeist ages well.
The Innocents is a freakshow mood piece.
Ghostbusters–love the movie and LOVE the reboot, too. Bite me, MRAs.
Beetlejuice–clever, funny, and well done.
