Thank you for writing about someone in their 50’s facing a new health challenge. Last May I went to the doctor (haven’t been in over 20 years) and was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. I thought I was just tired. Yes I am overweight. Love pasta, tacos and Dr. Pepper. At 51 finding I can’t move as fast as I did at work. So it was depressing. The meds have helped me lose weight but I gave up the soda until 2 1/2 weeks ago- work stress. Friends and family are like why aren’t you energized. And all the advice on what to eat. Drives me mad.
As someone with a lot of chronic medical issues, I have to say that my least favorite thing is the unsolicited advice. I know people mean well, but what works for someone else won’t necessarily work for me.
Also as a fellow Dr Pepper addict I know how hard it is to walk away from the sodas. I’m currently cutting down on how much of them I drink as well.
I wish you all the best on your new health journey, and also wish you lots of patience with people who don’t understand.
I know Ms. Galenorn is super happy that you find comfort in her books. 🙂
Ms. Galenorn is currently without internet and is unable to get print format set up via Amazon. I’m sure she will get it set up as soon as she can once she has internet back.

Your books are a comfort.

Are you going to release this in a paper version? I like to have both the ebook and paper book version, depending on the day 🙂
