Joey has been getting me up around 8 a.m. every morning by first meowing in my face and then patting my face with his paw while Sheena and Roxy look on. Once they’re fed and the litter is cleaned I have a few moments to get my breakfast before they want me to play with them. The latest activity involves a long piece of ribbon tied onto a rod that also has a pretend bird attached. They like me to drag it around the house while they chase and capture. If I take too long with my breakfast Joey drags everything by the end of the ribbon to me. Never a dull moment.
