I’m asked over and over if reviews really help sell books, and whether it’s better to just ‘rate’ a book, or leave a review. The truth is, for indie authors, reviews help. They don’t necessarily sell a ‘lot of books’ but they help readers discern whether or not they might be interested in an author. And they can also play into an indie author being able to buy certain forms of advertising. Some sites will not let you advertise a book without a certain number of good reviews (good review in this case = 4 or 5 Stars).

Now, I’m NOT going to tell you: LEAVE ME A REVIEW! That’s your choice. But, if you have a mind to, a good review can make quite a difference for authors. And good reviews do not include spoilers. *grins* So, if you love my books, please consider leaving me a good review on Amazon or Goodreads, especially. I’d be very appreciative!

(Obviously, I’m NOT going to ask you to leave me a review if you’re meh or hate my work–that would be stupid of me. I won’t tell you DON’T LEAVE ME A BAD REVIEW either, but I’m not soliciting bad press, LOL).

Your work is amazing. I just joined Amazon & Goodreads so I will most certainly leave you a wonderful review. I LOVE your work.
My future daughter-in-law has been following you & a young friend of mine has named her daughter after you.

LOVE Ur otherworld and look forward to Ur Bedlam. VERY VERY sorry that otherworld is winding down, but understand it’s had a FABULOUS run. I also enjoyed the peak in to Bubba past look forward to more

Margaretann, Love all of your work. I know you are ending the otherworld series soon and while I hate the idea I understand but I do wish you had found a way to write Chase’s story. I have re-read the otherworld books so much that some of them are coming apart. I did appreciate the time you took to sign the five books I took to the RT convention a few years ago but, alas, they too are suffering the same fate.
