I’ve been thinking a lot about TV lately. We love media here–movies, TV, books, music. But there are some fall back shows that I will watch and re-watch. If I don’t feel like listening to music while I work, sometimes I’ll watch reruns because I don’t have to focus on them–they make good background noise. Some of the shows I’ll watch while working are: Frasier, I Love Lucy, Sex & the City, Upstairs Downstairs, Downton Abbey, and Murder She Wrote. I do have other shows that I watch again and again, but these are the ones that are least intrusive to my working process.
So, do you have any fallback reruns that you can watch over and over?

Hm… If I’m just looking for background noise while working… Star Trek Voyager or original Top Gear. I can so ignore those when working and make good background noise.
I turn on CSI: Miami a lot even if I’m not paying full attention to it. And I often find marathons of the show running on a couple different stations. Plus Ghost Whisperer.
NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, Charmed, Life As We Know It and Penny Dreadful.
The shows I want to watch the most are Witches of East End, The Strain, Bitten and Luther.
just about anything on TV, I prefer to read but I like back ground noise as it helps keep the animals from hearing anything that is going on outside. and with as many as I have, I need all the help I can get.
NCIS, CSI, Supernatural<Ink Master, Face Off on syfy
I love Last Man Standing with Tim Allen and Food Network shows like Alton Brown’s Good Eats. Also anything about animals on Nat Geo Wild!
Seinfeld & Mash.
Always loved MASH.
When housecleaning, into a new crochet project or just needing to “zone” with background noise; I start marathon watching, NCIS, CSI (and all the spin offs)
