A couple of years ago around this time, I started a project called my Year of Trees. I took a picture of the same street every week for a year, noting the changes to the trees that line that road and then put it into a video. I really enjoyed it and a number of my readers did too, so I decided to reprise it. But I wanted to focus on a different area. So I decided to go to Marymoor Park, a large park in the area with a number of vantage points and took a year of pictures there. Now, I’m starting a third year and decided to make it easier on me. A year in my yard, focusing on the walkway, my Japanese lace maple, and the front walk. So without any more ado…here we go.

Week 5: We had a massive hailstorm yesterday. Left white ice crystals all over the ground. Today’s fairly clear, though it’s bracing. We have a few days going to reach into the 60s left, but now we’re getting temps mainly in the fifties. It dipped down to 38 a couple nights ago, so some areas saw frost, and the Cascades have been getting early snow.

Your yard is beautiful, I love the decorations also. I love gardening I feel so free to be creative in it. I t got away from me a few years ago due to illness. My son being a landscaper got it back together for me. He says he proud of me he only offers pointers & mulch now, because I’m back in control. I live in Maryland our weather changes with the time of day.

We are having warmer than normal weather here in Michigan. Tomorrow it is supposed to be around 70°. Go figure! Us trolls below the big bridge here are loving it. Usually it’s snowing by now, eh? (Michigander speak) The trees are beautiful and the apples are in. What more could you ask for? Hope you’re having a happy day!

Finally feeling like Fall in NE Ohio too. Cold front moved through yesterday & dropped temps about 20 degrees. Frost warnings for some counties tonight, but rest of week is supposed to be sunny with highs in mid-60s. Looks like the last of your flowers are just holding on. Love the orange lights. Hope this weather is kinder to you & lessens your allergies.
