Vlog: Welcome to the Witching Season
Every year I put up a post I call Welcome to the Witching Season. Today, I’m bringing it to you in a vlog!
Here in Florida we don’t get as cool, but one way we make it feel like autumn, we string up orange and purple lights, pumpkins, bats and ghosts and light candles like pumpkin spice and cinnamon and vanilla. I only wish I keep up autumn and winter decor up all year around to deal with Florida hot temperatures.
Since my daughter and her husband live in Lynnwood, I’ve had a chance to visit the peninsula a few times. My grandparents also managed The Chevy Chase Inn I believe during the 50’s. But I’ve never gone to the old fort that you mentioned early on. I’ll need to go there the next time I visit.
I live just north of San Jose, CA. in a small town called Newark. While our seasons aren’t as marked, there still is cooler weather. I love to decorate for the Fall holidays both outside as well as in. I guess it comes from being a retired teacher with no classroom to decorate. I love making soups and the fall is a perfect time.
Thank for sharing your area with everyone.
My name is Cathy Brickman. I just watched your video blog. I really enjoyed it.
