Thank you Sam and Yasmine for sharing.
Back in 2005 my husband had a stroke out of the blue. He was the never got sick guy- even when I had the flu. We know he has high blood pressure.
This year it is finally close to normal He takes so many pills he gets frustrated. He gets tired when family or friends say they just take one pill to control it. We still don’t know what caused the stroke.
One thing I am grateful for is each day I have with him. The best days are when we have off together.
Blessings
Thank you both for sharing with so much honesty the disabilities you are dealing with.
It truly means a lot to me, as I suffer from many disabilities, as well.
I also have back issues, one of which is Degenerative Disc Disease. There are others , too.
To date, I have had 6 surgeries, the latest one being yesterday. I had a trial nerve stimulator put in to help with sciatic pain that has plagued me to the point of not being able to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time. I am not able to work because of it. I have a wonderful support system in my husband and family. Although I have limitations, I also try to live life to the fullest.
Like Sam, I choose to manage my pain with Medical Marijuana rather than opiates, and many essential oil blends that help tremendously. Again, thank you so much for sharing your stories… many people wouldn’t , and you inspire me. Brightest Blessings to you both ! đŸ™‚
Thank you so much, both of you, for sharing. Very personal but very honest and forthright
