In STARLIGHT WEB:, January Jaxson goes to work for Conjure Ink, a paranormal investigations team. Now that January’s working for them, she’ll be going out on all sorts of cases to look for what’s out there. Conjure Ink was inspired by a number of differing ideas: shows like the Lone Gunmen, the Dead Files, Ghost Hunters, movies like Poltergeist, the Conjuring, etc., as well as the paranormal investigation websites I’ve seen. But I realize that in order for Conjure Ink to pay its investigators, it has to make money, so like a tarot reader or psychic–they take on actual commissions.
