I am way over 18, I live in a little town of 900 people. The cool thing about my town is that Robert E. Howard use to live here. Every June we have a Barbarian Festival and we have people from all over the world come to our town to see where Robert use to live. His house has been made into a museum for people to visit and learn about him. If you would like to know more about Robert or Cross Plains here is a link If you ever come down this way let me know and I would love to take you to lunch!

I am over 18 and live in the US. I recently just adopted a new fur baby addition to our little family! She is a lab/american bull dog mix we named Kilala and is about 1 year old. She loves playing with her big brother Hulk who is also a black lab mix and about 3 years old and hoping she will soon get along with our cat Batman who is about 2 and a half years old.

I am over 18 and I live in the USA. After a long stressful day at work, it always brings a smile to my face to come home to my fur babies wagging their tales and happy to see me! No matter what kind of day I had at work they sure can melt away the day with their unconditional love. I absolutely love your books and the Otherworld series is my favorite! I love the sisters!

I am definitely over 18. And I am in New Mexico which though some don’t believe it it is definitely in the United States. My dog likes to lay on the bed in front of me and position herself right in front of the fan. She does this so that when she turns her head a bit the fan blows her ears back. Unfortunately the fan also blows the smell of her breathe and her farts behind her so they hit me.

  • 10/30/2016 at 9:16 pm

Your writing is absolutely and skillfully enthralling as it whisks me away from a miserable and wretched life where all this problems constantly plague me. Your books becomes a set promise of better things, of a safe haven where I can run and hide from the troubles and stresses. Where I can hide from the anxiety and depression. Where I can truly be free, and for that my dear, no amount of appreciation or thanks could ever be enough, but it is all I have to offer. Thank you.

I am over 18, and live in Michigan. I’ve always loved to read. When I was a child, I used to climb a tree with an in one pocket of my hoody and a book in the other. It meant my Mother couldn’t find me to make me do anything, I could read in peace. My Grandpoppy used to tell my Mom to leave me alone, because I was reading. Funny what you remember, isn’t it?

  • 10/31/2016 at 1:26 am

I am 29, live in the US. I am dressing up as Riese from Syfy’s Riese: Kingdom Falling webseries for Halloween. My 14 month old Keeshond, Gibbs, will be my wolf. The night will definitely be an experience for him.

I’m over 18 and live in the US. The best news for me recently is that both my younger sister and I have gotten out of abusive relationships, we lived 800 miles apart, and now we have our own place together and are raising her two girls. We work and live together and I’m happier than I have been in years. We celebrate our mom’s birthday on Halloween, she would have been 57 this year and this will be the first time my lil sis and I will be together to honor our mother since she passed. We are stronger together than we were when we were apart and we aim for the stars! Blessed be everyone!

  • 10/30/2016 at 11:51 pm

I qualify based on all of the above requirements.
Your books helped me through college. While finishing up my final year I had to do my thesis and I just did not want to do it. I would go to the library to write and sit there reading your books. I started to think, what would Emerald do. That series was my introduction to your world and I loved how strong of a woman she was. She wouldn’t allow a paper to stand in her way and she would tell her kids to get it over with so that they can have fun. I finished my thesis, with breaks to read your books, and finished school. To this day I look back at those books and your Otherworldly books to give me strength when I feel overwhelmed. Thank you for letting me into your world. I am looking forward to you going Indi so that I can continue to enjoy the universe you created.

Hi! It’s storming outside and I’m sitting here in my big overstuffed armchair reading the”Otherworld Series”for what must be the 20th time, and drinking a large cup of Earl Grey tea… I absolutely love it!!! Your books transport me into a wondrous new world where I don’t feel trapped by the constant pain that I feel in the”real” world… for that, my husband and I will be forever grateful… Thank you!!!

  • 10/30/2016 at 9:04 pm

My kitty, Yuki was jumping from the couch to the end table. You already know that felines can be quite graceful. This was not one of those moments. There was a two inch gap and he somehow managed to lose his balance. I look over to see what if wrong based on the yowl he made. He was stuck in between with his cute little hiney and tail up in the air. We managed to help him, but I gotta say I was laughing so hard I was crying. Cassandra

  • 10/30/2016 at 7:58 pm

I’m sitting here watching my furbabies all cuddle up with either me or my hubs. Makes my heart swell when they curl up with us.

  • 10/30/2016 at 7:23 pm

Since its getting close to Halloween I will state that I have the sweetest black cat ever! He’s a fluffy black cat who likes to be picked up so he can give you a big ol’ bear hug. Both legs around your next, nose-to-nose, snuggles with licks of course. He also likes walk around with his tongue sticking out.

  • 10/30/2016 at 7:21 pm

I am 27 next month and in the US. The little things make me happy. The color of the clouds at dawn over the mountains. The smell of rain. The sounds of camping. The colors of fall in the trees. The smell and sound of a fire in hearth. The sound of my nephew and nieces laughes. The quietness of my room when I’m reading. The worlds that the authors give me. A strawberry milk at the end of a long day.

  • 10/30/2016 at 6:46 pm

I’m over 18, live in the USA.
My good news that will hopefully make you smile: My good friend has a special needs kitteh named Zeke.
He was born with hydrocephalus (water on the brain), as well as heart and numerous other health issues.
Tuesday , he underwent open heart surgery to save his life.
Zeke is 1-1/2 years old. He is such a fighter, and against near impossible odds, survived the surgery.
This little warrior is being discharged from the vet hospital today, and is going home to heal with his two hydro capable brothers, Hero and Milo.
I love knowing that Zeke (cute soul patch included) will live to cause shenanigans and spread love and inspiration for many days.
I love the people that pulled together in pushing healing to make this possible.

  • 10/30/2016 at 5:20 pm

I am over 18 and live in the US. I love your books and whenever I get one of your books, either in print or e-book, my honey knows not to bother me as I dance around the house going, ‘a new book, a new book…woot woot’ then settle in as I begin to read for hours at a time. πŸ™‚ He knows not to disturb me when I read one of your books. lol

  • 10/30/2016 at 5:19 pm

I am over 18 and live in the US

  • 10/30/2016 at 10:53 am

I am most definitely over 18! I’ve finally returned to the US after having been in the middle East for more that 3 years. But the best news is that my husband will be returning from there soon after the first of the year after having been there – more on than off – for almost 13 years! I’m ecstatic!

  • 10/30/2016 at 4:42 am

I’m over 18 and I live in the US.

After over a year of struggling to do any sort of writing due to my chronic problems with depression, I’ve finally opened my novel and began to work on it again. I don’t know what happened, but the inspiration just began to come back and my brain felt like it wanted to be in that world. I have some tentative plans to work on it for NaNoWriMo, if I can keep up the desire– or discipline myself enough to keep going through slumps. There are still a couple months of the year left, so maybe I will finish the book before 2017!

Also, as a fun aside, I have a black cat too and every time I see Apple, I think of my Loki and smile. Black cats are special creatures.

today, while my daughter was busy with her son, my grand daughter got a hold of her cell phone. my daughter had been on face book on said cell phone, and had not locked the keys….well, when my daughter got back to her phone, she found that her little girl (she’s only 2 years old) had posted a status update for her mommy with a bunch random letters! believe it not, i found at least 6 actual words mixed in the gibberish and started a contest to see if anyone else could find any more!

i am over 18 years old, and live in wi, us

  • 10/29/2016 at 8:52 pm

I have read all of your books. My husband gets irritated at me because I will be so into a book that he can be talking to me and I wont hear him. He is constantly asking me what is so interesting and I always say he needs to start with your Witchling and read them all. He just doesnt understand how a good book can take you away from life and let you into another world. I love your books and cant wait for each one that comes out. Thank you so much for being you and writing these wonderful books.

  • 10/29/2016 at 12:03 pm

I read Autumn Thorns after I went to your book signing in Seattle, my first book of yours and was instantly hooked! (Already finished the 2nd book and craving more) I just wanted to thank you. Books take me into a completely different realm, one of Piece and tranquility, especially when my life is going crazy. These books were simply what I needed. Just after that weekend at the bookshop, my grandpa passed away and I needed to go back to the Midwest for the service and to pretty much say goodbye to my grandma as well (she has cancer and not expected to live till Christmas). Usually I would be pretty emotional and a wreck, but when I started to feel that way I simply went and had a lil book therapy and escaped into Whisper Hollow. I can’t wait to dig into all your other books! Again thank you for, well just creating my beautiful realm and sanctuary.

Over 18 and in the US.

Pictures of my niece on the other side of the US make me smile. I haven’t met her in person but my sister has been so great about sharing her on facebook so I can watch her grow up. She is the most adorable almost one year old little girl with the best smile. I love waking up, opening my laptop, checking facebook and finding pictures or videos of her first thing. Really makes my day! =)

  • 10/29/2016 at 8:31 am

My son’s high school band scored a superior at their contest on Tuesday, whigh is the highest score. We go tomorrow October 29 for our last contest of the season, so excited. They’ve worked so hard all year and it’s paying off!!

  • 10/29/2016 at 6:32 am

    1. You must be 18 or over – check
    2. You must live in the US – check
    3. Hmmm….got good results on mammogram test (after being sent back in as something looked off). Friend and her Mom traveled to Venice and was able to steer her towards a couple places (and something to be on the lookout for) – she was thankful. Our growing lemon trees and papayas are doing good (survived Matthew and the crew we had to take care of some damaged trees (think they did more damage than the storm did)).

  • 10/29/2016 at 4:59 am

Well tonight my son went to his first highschool Halloween costume Dance. He went as the grim reaper with a freaky shinny pumpkin mask. He had a great time. Then on Halloween we usually go to my sisters house she gets around 100 trick-or-treaters. My son loves to dress up and scare the older kids. He has a fun time. I hope you all have a safe and Happy Halloween.
    I’m over 18, live in the US….

My grandmother was supposed to have surgery and I had sent her the first book on your Chintz ‘N China series for her to read during recovery. While she’s excited about the new series, she is no longer having surgery. Second opinion from a more experienced surgeon said surgery isn’t necessary. We are all happy about that!

  • 10/29/2016 at 2:03 am

    Hi Yasmine,
You are a new author to me. We’re at a science fiction convention in Tampa. Necromonicron.

  • 10/29/2016 at 1:19 am

I’m a pagan and I have a male tuxedo cat named Loki the Spastic and 2 older female cat who don’t know what to make of him. His best friend is our dog Bogey who is a Catahula Cur. I don’t question it, I just go with it. Loki says hi by the way as I type this.

I am over 18, live in the US, and I am so glad we are finally getting some rain here in Northern California. All of my plants are happy – chickens and mama-cat not so much as they cannot go out today. The air smells wonderful.

  • 10/28/2016 at 8:58 pm

I took a nap today with my 3 chihuahuas and they woke me up by licking my face! I love my furbabies!

  • 10/28/2016 at 6:18 pm

I don’t know of this will make you smile, but after my fiance and I being together for almost 7 years, we’re finally getting married next weekend!!!!! πŸ™‚ November 5th is the day! I’m so excited. We’ve had some ups and downs but all in all we can’t be more blessed. Our daughter is going to be our “leaf” girl. Instead of flowers, she’s throwing fake leaves. ☺ My sister is my maid of honor and my brother is standing on my side as well. Lol Dave’s (my fiance) sister is his best woman (she’s 15 and so excited he asked her to stand by his side). And his cousin is his other groomsman. It’s a little unconventional but Dave and I never really follow all the rules. Lol I’m hoping to make him tear up walking down the aisle. I’m walking down to a song that means something to both him and I instead of the typical wedding March, and I’m a little nervous. My dad is pysically disabled so I can’t wait to have him walk me down the aisle. My mom has been a savior in helping out. She’s more of the momzilla though. Lol πŸ™‚ There is so much to be thankful for and to be happy about. I can’t wait. πŸ™‚ Good luck to all the contestants. πŸ™‚

  • 10/28/2016 at 6:11 pm

Hi Yasmine! I’m 30 and I live in Indiana. I’m getting ready to take my girls to a local farm. We’re going on a hayride and they’ll get to navigate a corn maze. My toddler is so excited because she actually understands what’s going on this year. She can’t wait to put her costume on and go Twick oh Tweat, lol. Happy Halloween!

  • 10/28/2016 at 4:57 pm

    I’m so over 18
    I live in the us
I’ve listened to my friend gush about your books for years and I’ve love to get started so we can have back and forth conversations about them!

  • 10/28/2016 at 4:47 pm

I am a few years over 18, and I am living in the US. I have two new 6-month-old kittens in my house. Now that Halloween is almost over I have to worry about my Christmas tree staying up once we set it up in a few weeks. Kittens + Christmas tree = Chaos in the house!

  • 10/28/2016 at 3:57 pm

I am over 18, and I live in the US. As I write this, it a beautiful sunny day outside my window (few and far in the Pacific NW this time of year)! Once my girls’ Halloween costumes arrive (oldest will be Rey, youngest will be Leia. Love that they chose strong female characters!) we will go shopping for accessories for their costumes. It will be fun hanging out with my girls for the afternoon.

  • 10/28/2016 at 3:53 pm

Definitely over 18 and I have only ever lived in the US even though I love to travel.
I have a beautiful solid black cat called HOBO who is a solid 15+ lbs. He was found on the side of a highway a little tiny thing but he sleeps on my arm every night. I slept a little longer yesterday but he was tired of that and ready for his breakfast, since not eating for 8 hours, and woke me by first walking across my side with all 4 feet, then across the top of my pillow while mewing pitifully, like the baby he once was, he then resorts to taping gently on my head and finally in total desperation he bit my ear! To top off this tail he of course was purring the entire time and that’s where he gets the nickname Lovey Dovey.

  • 10/28/2016 at 3:17 pm

Yes, I am WAY over 18 πŸ™‚ I live in the US…My 14 year old daughter recently got on the Honor Roll list at her school… She never thought she could do it…She is so proud of herself and it gave her such a boost to her confidence!!! Her momma is so proud of her… Now the hard part really starts for her, she has shown that she can do it, now she just needs to keep it up so she can go on her 8th grade school trip!!!!

  • 10/28/2016 at 3:02 pm

My Six year old Goddaughter Genesis came to me and asked me if I would help her with something when I was babysitting her this past weekend. She took me out to her parents backyard and showed me a box with two black and orange baby kitties. One had a missing eye, she told me she wanted to find them a home but did not want her parents to know what she was doing. I convinced her to let me take them to the ASPCA for a quick check up, and when we did we found out that despite being abandoned a little bit malnurished. They were happy and healthy once they got the all clear, the vets and workers at the ASPCA praised Genesis for caring for the kitties. We told her parents and they were so impressed with what she did they let her keep one of the kitties, she named him One-Eye Jack (I know!) That made me warm and giggly all week.

  • 10/28/2016 at 2:36 pm

I just found out that my beautiful niece is 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant. I’M GOING TO BE A GREAT AUNT!!! And I’ve finally convinced my hubby to start making a lifestyle change so that we both can lose the needed weight that we’ve needed to lose for a long time. I’m most definitely over the age of 18, I live in the US. Thank you for this chance.

  • 10/28/2016 at 2:06 pm
