We’ve been working on the site. We’re finally getting to some of the stuff that MUST be done, but couldn’t be done till we finished upgrading to a new hosting platform, which was a mega headache and left me wanting to tear my hair out at times. I don’t know how many times we called our host but it seems that we’re almost (knock wood) at the point where we want to be. Cross fingers that nothing else rears its nasty little head.
So, I want to thank my readers for being so supportive about my recent announcement. Of course, there were a few comments I wanted to smack, but hey, I know full well I can’t please everybody and I stopped trying to do that years ago. And overall, you guys have been fantastic and I am grateful you understand that things in publishing have necessitated these changes for me.
So I’ve started on FURY AWAKENED and I have the play list and blurb for you. I love writing this series—I’ve always loved science fiction/fantasy, and while this is post apocalyptic as well as paranormal romance, it’s primarily about the characters, like all my work. If you haven’t read the first two, I’m going to do a little shameless self promo here and tell you that I’m loving writing this series. To be honest, I’m having more fun than I have in years with my work.
The Fury Unbound Series and the Bewitching Bedlam Series are joys for me to write, and I’ve even rediscovered my love for writing Otherworld with MOON SHIMMERS—which is on my editor’s desk getting edited right now. In some ways, it’s a blessing, being able to finish the series the way *I* want to, without any outside interference. I’m happy again, in a way that I haven’t been in a long time. It’s still scary, moving into indie and crossing fingers enough of my readers (and enough new readers) will figure out that’s what I’ve done, but you know what? Life is full of risks. And like Fury, I was standing at the Crossroads. And I jumped in and landed on both feet.
I also have fun news—I’m re-releasing the Bath and Body Series soon, under my own name, with new covers. I’m only releasing it in e-format for now, because there are plenty of used print copies out there for now. I have a bunch of cover reveals for you, so over the next few weeks keep an eye out! So drop me notes here, I love hearing from my readers. 😉 And happy Monday!

i love all your series. I miss the indigo court series. But all your books are fantastic.
It seems like indie is the way to go these days. About half of the authors I read are indie or at least hybrid, which works well for me because the Kindle books are cheaper. I no longer buy actual books because I don’t have anymore room at my house. I have converted completely to Kindle at this point.
Love love love the playlist!
Jethro Tull one of my all time favorites.
Mummers dance hits me to the core. Still haven’t figured that one out.
The positive energy in your writing is so apparent. Im glad your excited & happy with going out on your own. You’ve come a long way just since I started following you. It takes a pretty strong person to take that plunge. You have handled it with grace.
Thanks so much for sharing!
Jenni
I can’t wait for Moon Shimmers to come out! I’m going to get a print copy!
I also love that you listen to Tuatha Dea! I discovered them through my best friend. She went to our Celtic Festival last year (I couldn’t go), and she posted some of their performance on Facebook Live! I got to see that, plus I’m a member of their Facebook page. (They thanked my bestie for the videos for their show, & I told them that we were best friends.) They sent me three videos. One for “Long Black Curl”, one for “Wisp Of A Thing”, and I believe the third one was for “The Hum and The Shiver”. I’m hoping they can come back to our festival, and I’ll get to see them live!
I’ve been looking in my used book store for the Bath & Body Series, but no luck yet. I’d love to read them!
Hey, I love your books. Started with the Witchling. Bought every one of them and the stand alones. Then went to Chintz ‘n China, Indigo Court, Fly by Night, Sisters of the Moon, Shimmers and so on. I’m 67 years old and don’t really don’t care for the sex scenes but to read your marvelous books I will skip over those parts. Can’t wait for the Bath and Body series. I can’t afford a lot at a time but will try to keep up. KEEP GOING!
Yay! I’m so glad you’re happy! And I’m so glad your move to indie has been successful for you. As long a you keep writing, I’ll keep reading!
And I feel your pain on the site updates. As webmasters, my hubby and I have dealt with that headache for many a client! I’m glad it’s nearly at an end for you. 🙂
You will never lose me unless you stop writing. Your characters are always realistic and fun.
Now if I could just get back into reading anything.
